Preliminary investigation is scheduled to begin this morning for Kurt Churchill, who is charged with murder in connection with a shooting in St. Louis. John’s almost two years ago.

He is accused of shooting James Cody outside Churchill’s house on Craigmillar Avenue in the early hours of the morning of July 5, 2020.

Aside from the second-degree murder charge, Churchill also faces five firearms charges in connection with the shooting.
