WIMBLEDON burst into applause when Prince George arrived to watch the men’s singles final with his mother and father.
The future king, eight years old, had the crowd sit in the royal box with William and Kate at the Center Court for their first tennis match.

The young man, who looked like paper as he put on an elegant blue suit, shirt and tie under the blazing sun, saw fiery Australian Nick Kyrgios face Serbian operator Novak Djokovic.
When military personnel asked him if it was his first visit, Mother Kate – who today has opted for a stunning blue polka dot dress – replied, “Today is George’s gift.”
And the eight-year-old even revealed which player he supported after being asked by a member of the Armed Forces.
After a careful pause to think, the future king of the United Kingdom replied, “Djokovic.”
The Duke of Cambridge William opted to wear an elegant sand-colored sports jacket finished with blue pants, shirt and tie.
But even though he seemed to be delighted with tennis, George made a blatant complaint about the weather.
As William strokes George’s hair, the eight-year-old calmly says to his father, “[It’s] too hot. “
Expressing concern, William replied, “Oh, you’re hot, aren’t you? It’s very hot today […] It will be fine. “
The couple’s other children, Charlotte, seven, and Louis, four, did not attend.
Royal fans will be disappointed not to see the whole family together after their appearances to steal shows at the Jubilee.
Little Louis was a particular hit after chatting with his “Gan-Gan” -the queen- on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and blatantly putting his hand over his mother’s mouth at the royal pageant.
The youngsters will spend much more time with their grandmother after moving to Windsor this summer.
Kate, who is a skipper of the Lawn Tennis Association, missed the second Wimbledon semi-final on Friday for a very sweet reason.
He skipped the game to join Prince George and Princess Charlotte for their last day at school before the summer break.
But she returned to the Royal Box with her husband and eldest son to see how Kyrgios faced Djokovic.
And many fans were worried about the young prince when Kyrgios dropped an F-bomb a few yards from him and accused an excited fan of “looks like he had drunk 700 drinks” after losing his service.
Kate would go on to hand out the trophy to seven-time winner Novak Djokovic after she came from behind to win in four sets and equal the great Pete Sampras in titles at the All-England Club.
Serbia’s victory comes a day after Kate gifted Russian Elena Rybakina, who represents Kazakhstan, to Venus Rosewater Dish when she defeated Tunisian Ons Jabeur in the women’s singles final on Saturday.
The moment was not without controversy, as the 23-year-old, who was born and raised in Moscow and played under the Russian flag until 2018 changed international loyalty to Kazakhstan, won the tournament in a year in which Russian and Belarusian athletes were banned. .
The men’s singles final came with a sad backdrop as Kyrgios faces charges of common assault against a former partner in Australia.
A ROYAL ROYAL EXHIBITION
Looking ahead to the final, the explosive 27-year-old took part in fierce fights with line judges, referees, opponents, the media and even the crowd.
His behavior has earned the Canberra-born star the names “a threat to tennis” and “Wimbledon’s worst nightmare,” among others.
But Djokovic said he was happy to face Kyrgios in the final after the Australian took a step back when Spaniard Rafael Nadal retired before the semis due to an abdominal injury.
Kyrgios had not been beyond the fourth round in a Grand Slam for seven years before this tournament and has spoken openly about his mental struggles and his reluctance to fully commit to the sport.
The Serbian player, who on Thursday eliminated the number one Briton Cameron Norrie from the tournament, said: “I think that, among the players, we always know how dangerous it is, especially on the pitch …
“Because of his game, for his attitude on the court of being so confident, of going for it, of being a very complete player.”
Kyrgios also spoke about Djokovic at a press conference after the Christmas retreat, in which he said he has developed a “bromance” with the reigning champion in recent months.
