Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have met publicly with the royal family for the first time since they sensationally left.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted on Thursday watching the Trooping the Color ceremony from a balcony at the Horse Guard parade.

It is unclear whether the couple, who returned to London from their home in California to celebrate the Queen’s seven decades on the throne, took their two sons Archie and Lilibet with them to the event.
Harry and Meghan were joined by the Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Beatrice, Princess Eugenie, Zara Tindall and younger members of the royal family.

It marks the couple’s first public engagement with the royal family in two years after they “retired” from their roles and moved to America.
Harry and Meghan have been talking about their tensions with some members of the royal family since their shocking departure from the clan in early 2020, even in an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey last year that briefly sparked a royal crisis. .
They returned to the United Kingdom to visit the Queen at a secret meeting in April, and Harry attended a memorial service for his late grandfather Prince Philip last year, but they have not joined a royal event since ‘that exit.
The Duke and Duchess did not travel to Buckingham Palace to appear on the balcony with the Queen after Trooping the Color.

It is understood that the Sussex will meet with the Queen on Lilibet’s first birthday this Saturday.
It will be the first time that Her Majesty will meet her one-year-old great-granddaughter and namesake.
Lilibet was given the name of the monarch, who has traditionally been referred to by the nickname by close members of her family.
The Sun reported that Queen Elizabeth II sent a car and royal guards on Saturday to pick up the Duke and Duchess of Farnborough Airport and take them home to Frogmore Cottage, Windsor.
A spokesman for Buckingham Palace did not comment when contacted by CNN.
