A television propagandist of Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that “a nuclear war is approaching” that will make only the “mutants” survive.
Vladimir Solovyov’s comments are the latest nuclear threat to the West by Russian broadcasters as the war with Ukraine continues.
During his program in Russia1, he said that the world was facing “bloody pages of world history” and that everything was “moving in that direction.”
He added: “I hope we survive this. If all goes well, only a couple of mutants in Lake Baikai [in Siberia] will survive.
“The rest will be destroyed in a massive nuclear attack.
“Because if NATO decides that they can put whatever they want on our borders, they will send more and more American weapons to Ukraine, Ukraine will fire and end up hitting one of our nuclear power plants, and here we are.”
Mr Solovyov added: “The process will soon become uncontrollable. Everyone will receive more than they asked for.
‘Bang! And there is nothing left.

Expert Yaakov Kedmi recently called on his country’s army to bomb British power plants and bring us “back to the stone age”.
And in April, RT editor Margarita Simonyan said that “the most incredible result” of the war in Ukraine would be how “it will end with a nuclear attack,” which she said “seems to me more likely to the other course of events “.
Earlier this week, Channel One’s 60 Minutes program aired a simulation of a nuclear attack on Europe that would take just 200 seconds and “leave no survivors.”
The United Kingdom confirmed yesterday that it would send long-range missiles to Ukraine for the first time, although President Putin warned that Western deliveries of long-range rocket systems would encourage Moscow to “hit objects we have not yet hit.”

Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted on Monday: “We cannot stand idly by as long-range Russian artillery crushes cities and kills innocent civilians.
“The United Kingdom will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with multiple missile rocket systems so that they can effectively repel the continuing Russian attack.”
In his own post on Twitter on Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky shared that he had a conversation with Johnson, in which he “raised the issue of intensifying work on security guarantees.”
‘Along with [Britain] we are looking for ways to avoid the food crisis and unblock ports, “he added.
