Queen “struggled not to be overwhelmed by tears,” says body language expert

The queen is believed to have “fought not to be overcome by tears” as she greeted thousands of well-wishers from the Jubilee from the balcony of Buckingham Palace.

In an emotional finale of the four-day platinum jubilee, which marked her 70th year as queen, the monarch could be seen “narrowing” her eyes to prevent them from “sinking,” said the expert in body language Judi James.

The longest-serving monarch in British history appeared on the balcony for three minutes while assuring that she was “committed to serving” the nation “to the best of her ability”.

While there, Mrs. James analyzed her body language and said the queen was using “all her willpower” to avoid breaking up in public for the first time in her life.

He said clear signs of this could be seen in the queen’s eyes and her “sucked” lips as she stood on the world’s most famous balcony.

Surrounded by her family, including Prince Charles, Camilla, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, George, Charlotte and Louis, she was applauded by thousands of supporters after stepping on the balcony after the platinum pageant.

The parade told the story of his life and the nation, with an eccentric, fun and imaginative display resembling a carnival that the Monarch missed along with many Jubilee events.

The queen also smiled as she recognized the spectators and looked down at the mall where tens of thousands had waited in hopes of seeing her.

The queen later said in her message: “When it comes to marking seventy years as queen, there is no guide to follow. It really is a first. But I have felt very humble and moved that so many people have took to the streets to celebrate my platinum jubilee.

“Although I may not have attended all the events in person, my heart has been with all of you, and I remain committed to serving you to the best of my ability, with the support of my family.

‘It was a turning point. The queen stood in a line of continuity, alongside her direct heir and grandson George.

“The choreography was clearly planned to be iconic, with William gently reorienting his son Louis, who tried to get back to his beloved great-grandmother as he did on his first appearance on the balcony.

“William stepped back to allow George, who seems to have grown before our eyes for the past four days, to come to his attention and give the queen a very big, affectionate smile as he turned to return to the palace. . ‘
