Heavy rains have caused rain warnings in the Kingston, Ontario area on Wednesday, with severe storm warnings in parts of eastern Ontario still recovering from last month’s storm.
Warnings extend from Napanee to Westport to Mallorytown.
Environment Canada says there could be between 50 and 75 millimeters of rain, with 45 millimeters already falling at 9:15 a.m. in some areas.

These areas in western Quebec, except for the communities of Gatineau and eastern Ontario, in the western areas of Ottawa, Cornwall and Prescott-Russell, are under severe storm watch.
Environment Canada says conditions are favorable for the development of storms this morning and afternoon, with gusts of up to 90 km / h, nickel hail and heavy rain.
This includes the Bancroft and Tweed areas and their thousands of customers still without electricity more than 10 days after the major damage caused by a right on May 21.
Ottawa-Gatineau doesn’t have any warnings or clocks yet. His forecasts include showers and a chance of a storm.
The Kingston high on Wednesday is 24 ºC with a humidex that makes it feel more like 30. The maximum expected in Ottawa is 18 ºC.
