Random: Here’s a look at Masahiro Sakurai’s retro video game collection

If you’re looking for new ways to organize your retro video game collection, you may want to keep reading. Masahiro Sakurai, the creator of Kirby and director of the Smash Bros. series, recently shared an image on social media of his impressive library of retro games.

As you can see, it has drawings stacked with cartridges like GoldenEye 007 and Batman, and there’s even a whole unit of Super Famicom. Sakurai’s latest tweet has so far generated more than 50,000 likes on social media, with some fans even asking Sakurai to start his own series of retro collectors on YouTube.

This isn’t the first time fans have looked at Sakurai’s personal collection of games. Previously, its main configuration, which are two massive TVs together and several consoles under both units, including systems from the PlayStation and Nintendo families.

In 2019, Sakurai mentioned in his regular Famitsu column how he (at the time) had 60 different controllers, several Switch consoles and several PlayStation devices. He has also added a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox Series X to his collection in recent years.
