The glamorous former Foreign Minister and her boyfriend David Panton were only seen together a week ago mingling with Prince Charles in London, but days later, it can be revealed that the handsome handsome man dropped the big news while they were together at dinner.
Former Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and her longtime boyfriend David Panton have asked for their eight-year relationship.
The real estate developer dropped the big news about his girlfriend as the couple dined at the Eastbank restaurant on Friday night in front of Sydney Harbor Bridge.
A Panton representative confirmed that she had broken up with Ms Bishop in a brief statement to the Sydney Morning Herald.
“I will focus on living in Manly and Melbourne in the foreseeable future. I wish Julie all the best in her ongoing stellar career,” he said.

There were no signs of trouble in paradise after the couple appeared in love during a dinner in London last week hosted by Prince Charles.
The ex-politician was seen sitting next to the Prince of Wales and later smiled as he spoke to the royal member and appeared to present Mr Panton.
Mrs. Bishop, 65, and Mr. Panton, 61, were often seen on red carpets, sporting events and also mingled with dozens of local and international celebrity faces.
They attended the wedding of TV character Karl Stefanovic and his wife Jasmine Yarborough in 2018 and met former U.S. President Donald Trump in 2017.
The couple are believed to have started dating in 2014 when they made public their relationship together at the Melbourne Cup.
They are believed to have been linked by their love of fitness, with former Foreign Minister an amateur runner and real estate developer a swimmer.
The couple maintained a long-distance romance with Mrs. Bishop who lived on the west coast of Perth while her boyfriend lived in Sydney.
“(David and I) meet constantly, travel together and travel abroad to keep it fresh,” he told SMH in 2019.
“I think long-distance relationships can be a lot of fun.”
Ms. Bishop moved away from politics in February 2019 and has run various businesses during that time.
She held a position as rector of the National University of Australia in 2020 and also had a Barbie doll created in her honor after the brand gave her “pioneer” status.
In May, she made a surprise move with a collaboration with global cosmetics brand Estée Lauder, saying that “her products have been part of my beauty routine for years.”
