According to Rob Gutmann on the Anfield Wrap podcast The Gutter, Liverpool have held transfer talks with Tottenham star Harry Kane.
A source close to Rob Gutmann revealed to the podcast that “Liverpool has been in talks with Harry Kane”.
Last summer, Harry Kane was closely linked to a move to Manchester City. Rumors were so strong that Kane refused to show up for Tottenham’s pre-season training.

Despite this, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy stood firm in his £ 150m valuation of the English striker, and any hopes of a transfer faded fairly quickly.

Kane at the receiving end of Trent Alexander-Arnold’s midfield would recall Robert Lewandowski’s time at Borussia Dortmund with Jurgen Klopp.
With Divock Origi leaving and replacing Liverpool for Milan, the Reds need a striker. It looks like Kane would be one of the biggest improvements in the club’s history.
Time will tell if this rumor has legs, but it is definitely one that needs to be watched.
