Resistance: Retribution seems ready for PlayStation Plus

A PS4 and PS5 rating for Resistance: Retribution has been detected in Korea, suggesting that it will likely be added to Sony’s PS Plus subscription.

Resistance: Retribution was the prequel to Bend Studio’s third-person PSP in the Resistance series. As Gematsu writes, the Korea Gaming and Management Committee has rated the game for current consoles.

PSP games will be available to Premium subscribers, although so far only a couple have been officially announced: Super Stardust Portable and Ridge Racer 2 (in Asia).

The Resistance series took center stage on PS3 with three titles. The first was a console launch game.

Resistance: Retribution received an 8/10 rating on our review, describing the single player as “effortlessly fun and incredibly polished”.

However, only Resistance 3 has been officially included as part of the PS Plus catalog. With Resistance: Retribution, could all four games reach subscription?

A “select” number of PSP games will receive the ability to save anywhere and rewind.

PS Plus is currently available in Asia, with a Japanese release next week (June 2), followed by North and South America (June 13) and Europe, Australia and New Zealand (June 23).

See our PS Plus guide for a full list of advertised games.
