Retired US general says new pandemic statement on ‘scheduled’

Two retired US generals, MG Paul Vallely of the Army and Thomas McInerney of the Air Force are sounding the alarm over the World Health Organization’s declaration of monkeypox as a global health emergency after the agency’s management of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Valley said that despite the WHO statement, people should not be alarmed by monkeypox, which mainly affects gay and bisexual men. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed more than 22,000 cases of monkeypox worldwide as of Friday.

“While the declaration does not impose requirements on national governments, it serves as an urgent call to action. WHO can only issue guidance and recommendations to its member states, not mandates. Member states must report events that pose a threat to global health,” Vallely told The Epoch Times.

“Beware of this politically driven global organization that is funded by the global elite,” he said.

The WHO declared monkeypox an international public health emergency on July 23, with WHO Director-General Adhanom Ghebreyesus saying the virus “has spread throughout the world rapidly, through of new modes of transmission, of which we understand too little.”

“The director of the WHO, Tedros, is not a doctor, he is a Marxist from Ethiopia, fully supported by the Chinese Communist Party. He lied about C-19 from the beginning to cover China,” criticized Valley the leader of the WHO

Republicans in Congress have accused Tedros for more than two years of siding with China during the pandemic.

McInerny said they thought another pandemic would now be declared.

“They’re right about our projected schedule,” McInerney explained, underscoring his defiance of pandemic restrictions.

“We will not settle for their directives, we must resist the lockdowns… now is the time for the United States and the world and we the people to say no!” he said “Fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on me!”
