Roger Federer invades the Wimbledon audience and shares chat with Novak Djokovic

Roger Federer made the central court crowd wild when he stepped out onto the grass to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Wimbledon main court. The star-studded presentation also saw his Big Four teammates Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray join forces alongside a number of former champions, and the Swiss star shared a quick chat with the his Serbian rival.

Federer and Djokovic were part of a large list of former Wimbledon champions invited to the central court for today’s centennial celebrations, in what is the first mid-Sunday with official play scheduled. There were rumors that the 40-year-old would attend despite not being able to compete this year as he continues to recover from knee surgery.

But the eight-time SW19 champion was seen on the field before the day and received the biggest joy of the day on the Wimbledon main track when he passed as the last former champion to get on the track.

Dressed in a suit, the 20-time champion Major took his place alongside his rival, the six-time champion Djokovic, while the pair shared a quick chat with the world number 3 seen inclined to talk to the Swiss star .
