It’s an incredibly busy week for Switch with the release of titles like Fall Guys, Roller Champions and Sonic Origins. Along with all these games, we also have the first part title Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes.
This is another spectacular Musou game from the Omega Force team that sees you (the player) take control of the new character Shez as they prepare to face the protagonist of the Three Houses, Byleth. From here, join forces with Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude and invite you to embark on a new adventure.
In our own review, we saw how the game has improved over its 2017 predecessor in several ways, and it also had solid performance and an action-packed campaign, awarding it nine out of ten stars.

And here’s a summary of what other outlets have said about the game so far. GamesRadar + (especially) loved it and gave it a 3.5 out of 5:
“Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes mounts a great hybrid battle system while barely braking for their beloved characters.”
Vooks.net praised the game for its perfect fusion of gameplay and strategy, giving it a 4.5 out of 5:
“Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes may be the best Warriors game to date. “It’s no wonder a lot of characters feel similar in combat, but it’s easy to look beyond how fantastic all the other aspects are.”
Nintendo Insider gave the game a 9 out of 10 rating, noting that it was an “outstanding standout” among the many Warriors on Switch games:
“Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes jumps headlong into battle, delivering tactical brilliance and heroic thrills alike. This is an outstanding highlight among the many Warriors games on the Nintendo Switch, and perhaps the best to grace the home console to this day, full of armies to kill, sincere narratives and more than enough content to keep you busy for months and months, whether at home or on the move. “
Comicbook.com said it was “closer to perfection than it is entitled to,” with a score of 4.5 out of 5:
“Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes has enough of the franchise’s DNA to satisfy. And somehow, zooming through a battlefield while triggering abilities like Assassination or Nosferatu seems more in line with battle chaotic and devastated by the Fodlan war than before. “
And Destructroid was also impressed with the latest Warriors entry, which gave it a 9 out of 10 rating:
“While the basic gameplay of Warriors probably won’t completely win over people who have already tried to get into it, those of you who enjoy it should have a lot of fun with Three Hopes.”
