Russian missiles also hit targets in northern Kyiv on Saturday, and new attacks were reported on Sunday. Russia’s Defense Ministry said it had hit Ukraine’s military training centers.
The Artem factory, a large office block and machine plant, was built in Soviet times and has manufactured missiles.
However, locals said the building now serves primarily as the company’s corporate headquarters and has long diversified into civilian electronics manufacturing.
When the complex was last hit in late April, it appeared that the attack was scheduled to coincide with the visit to Kyiv by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
