Former home and away star Sam Frost has shared some exciting personal news.
The 33-year-old has announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend, Australian survivor contestant Jordie Hansen, 26, with whom she has been dating for six months.

Frost dropped the news by chance during the first episode of his new podcast, Jordie and Sam’s Rural Roadtrip.
“Jordi and I are very excited to do this,” he said.
“It’s a very important moment in our lives, we recently got engaged and to celebrate we thought, let’s go on the road, let’s go on a 14-day road trip!”
Hansen then revealed that he was the one who proposed and why they didn’t get any footage of the special moment.
“We were on the Uluru, we had just woken up, after a break, we were about to head south,” he explained.
“Sambo had just been given coffee, so I said, ‘Hey, when would you say yes to getting married?’
Then Sam added, “I said, ‘Almost anytime from now on.’

“I took it like I’m going to do it this afternoon,” Hansen continued.
The couple packed their bags and ran to the Breakaways in Coober Pedy because Hansen wanted to propose an official proposal at sunset.
But even though most things went as planned: they arrived in time for sunset and Frost said yes, Hansen’s clumsy video meant that all that was recorded was his foot while he got on his knees.
“We pressed the playback of the video and Sam said,‘ Oh dear, we’re out of the game, ’” Hansen explained.
“All you can see is the bottom of my foot.”

Frost recently moved from NSW to Victoria to live with Melbourne-based Hansen.
The actress, author and mental health advocate recently left her role in Home and Away, where she had played Jasmine Delaney since 2017.
He made public his relationship with Hansen only in April of this year.
From that moment on, the two began posting beloved images together while traveling together in Uluru and various rural places.

In a post, showing the couple embracing in front of Uluru, Sam wrote that she felt “honored” to be on the trip with Jordie.
“Thank you Jord, for taking me on the adventure of a lifetime,” he wrote.
“I loved listening and learning.
“Your soul and your deep connection to the land and the community are really beautiful.
“I feel very honored to make this journey with you.”

In another black-and-white post, Sam describes her boyfriend as “the funniest human I’ve ever met.”
“Thank you for making me so happy, I am a very lucky woman,” she wrote.
The couple met through Sam’s brother.

On Jordie’s Instagram, the atmosphere is just as cherished.
In one post, imagining Sam absorbing the beauty of Victoria’s Otway Ranges, he wrote, “I had the honor of taking the sun lady to the bush to see some of the places and faces that are so special to me “.
“I am so grateful to have had the opportunity not only to share this adventure with her, but also to share life with her,” he continued.
