Samsung Canada introduces a Grand Prix-style racing simulator with Neo QLED 8K TVs

Samsung is partnering with professional Canadian race car driver Daniel Morad to learn one of the best and test the state-of-the-art racing style simulator.

While Canadian racing car enthusiasts are gearing up for exciting motorsport events this summer, Samsung Electronics Canada recently unveiled a unique racing simulator built with Samsung Neo QLED 8K TVs. Developed in collaboration with Advanced SimRacing Digital Motor Sports Retailer, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K Racing Simulator takes sim racing to the next level with three 65 “screens with an 8K resolution, about four times that of a standard simulator.

“As a fan of motor sports, it has been a great thrill to develop this simulator, which has increased the game for racing simulation technology,” said Pat Bugos, Samsung Canada’s senior vice president of consumer electronics. “Sim racing is just as effective as the technology used to simulate reality, and our new Samsung Neo QLED 8K displays deliver the incredible real picture quality needed for a truly immersive gaming experience.”

To ensure that the simulator meets the needs of engine industry professionals, Samsung has partnered with Advanced SimRacing and Canadian professional race car driver Daniel Morad. A tech enthusiast and a top rated simulated racing streamer, Morad’s range of experience was an ideal combination to help show off the ultimate racing simulator.

“Simulators have been an essential tool for my career training regimen over the years, and it’s exciting to see Samsung’s technology further elevate the experience,” said Daniel Morad. “Beyond training for my next race, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K Racing Simulator is also an amazing gaming experience that feels very close to reality.”

The Samsung Neo QLED 8K racing simulator was developed in response to the growing popularity of racing games and video games in particular. In 2020, video game sales surpassed the global American film and sports industries combined, with a quarter of gamers calling race cars driving their favorite game genre.

Built with premium materials, the simulator includes professional-grade pedals and a vibrating steering wheel with simulated feedback. Plus, with the addition of a Samsung Q990B sound bar, the simulator delivers multidimensional sound as part of an amazing audio experience.

Visually, with Quantum Matrix Pro technology, Samsung Neo QLED 8K displays game details in both dark and light areas with even sharper quality than 4K monitor screens, which are commonly used in professional simulators. In addition, the Neo Quantum 8K processor has a brilliant increase in artificial intelligence (AI) of 8K[1]completed by 20 multimodel neural networks.

Starting June 17, consumers, gamers, and race car enthusiasts have the opportunity to experience the Samsung Neo QLED 8K Racing Simulator located at the Samsung Experience Store in Toronto, ON.
