Samsung is no stranger to offering ingenious photography apps, with its existing photo editor offering a plethora of options, while its Expert Raw app offers a full RAW photography experience.
Now, Samsung has quietly launched a new photography app called Galaxy Enhance-X (h / t: Android Sage). According to the attached Galaxy Store listing, the app uses “AI-based techniques” to offer a number of one-touch editing features. Check out some screenshots below.
Supported features include blur and reflection removal, increased resolution scale, sharpness, low-light image illumination, and enhanced HDR effect. The app can even remove moiré patterns, such as those seen when taking a photo of content on a TV or smartphone. Fortunately, the snapshot and the original photo are saved after making the aforementioned changes.
It has been reported that the app requires Android 10, so those with much older Galaxy phones could be out of luck. Also, it looks like the app is not yet available for download in India.
