Previously scheduled to arrive on Friday, June 3, Amazon Prime Video’s hit series, The Boys, has officially hit the early playback platform and is available on the platform right now. The first three episodes of the series can be seen right now with new episodes coming in later this week (as Amazon Prime Video wants to do, it’s likely to be played early on Thursday nights for fans who can’t wait for the next episodes ).
At the time of writing, Season 3 of The Boys has a perfect 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes with the label “Certified Fresh”, with 28 reviews available right now. Our own review of the series rated it 5 out of 5, noting: “The remarkable thing about The Boys as a series is that each season has never felt completely different from before. ‘episodes really playing as the next collection of themes in a broader narrative, but at the same time it has never become obsolete. ” The first season of the series premiered with a score of 85% and a “Certified Fresh” distinction on the review aggregator, while the second season improved to an almost perfect 97% rating.
“There’s definitely a lot of madness,” series creator Eric Kripke said earlier in an interview with TV Guide Magazine’s special issue of science fiction and fantasy collectors about the new season. “It’s no secret that we’re doing an episode of ‘Herogasm’ from comics, which is a massive orgy of superheroes. And we’re doing something in the first episode that I think is definitely the craziest thing we’ve ever done. .. and it could be one of the craziest things anyone has ever tried to do. ”
Amazon’s official description for the new season reads: “It’s been a quiet year. Homelander is subdued. Butcher works for the government, overseen by Hughie of all people. But both men want to make that peace and peace of mind, so when the Boys find out about a mysterious Anti-Supe weapon, it makes them crash into the Seven, starting a war and chasing the legend of the first superhero: Soldier Boy. ”
The third season of The Boys also stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit and Jensen. Ackles.
