The first Sant Fermí festival since 2019 began on Wednesday, which attracted a large crowd to the streets of the Spanish city.

Thousands of people have gathered in front of the City of Pamplona on the occasion of the opening of the celebration of nine days, very popular with tourists. The annual festival was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Thursday was the first day of the bullfight, a tradition that goes back centuries and made Ernest Hemingway’s novel “The Sun Also Rises”, also published under the title “Fiesta”, world famous.
