TV presenter Erin Molan has been spotted with a mystery man at an event in Canberra.
Todd Selby was seen alongside Ms Molan at a book launch for her father Jim Molan at Parliament House in Canberra on Wednesday before the pair stopped for a photo together.
Recently welcomed to Sky News with her show ‘Erin’, the mother of one told the media earlier this year that she was ready to share more about herself and her private life.
Ms Molan confirmed she had met a special someone in May after revealing she had returned to the dating scene earlier this year following her shock split from financier Sean Ogilvy in September 2021.
The 39-year-old told radio show Hughesy, Ed and Erin that she was happy with her new man, but that dating a boy was “complex”.
The couple were photographed together while Mr. Molan launched his new book Danger on our Doorsstep in Parliament.
“It’s still early days. It’s actually really nice. I think anyone who’s been in a long-term relationship, when it ends, especially if you have kids, you go through that stage where you don’t know if you’re going to get back together. meet someone,” he said.
The presenter also revealed the unexpected way she met her partner, saying it felt like ‘destiny’.
“I was driving in the parking lot, he was getting out. That was the first time we met but we didn’t see each other until a couple of months after that,” she said.
“I don’t believe in fate…but the timing was pretty incredible. We closed our eyes and I felt something.”
Erin’s co-host Hughesy described the mystery man as “like he’s played rugby league”.
“He is tall, strong and fit. He is handsome and has a very deep voice. He has a great sense of humor,” she said, adding that the couple look very happy together.”
The former sports reporter who has had his fair share of controversies.
In 2020, Ms Molan highlighted the harms of cyberbullying, speaking out on 60 Minutes as she recounted the horrific abuse she suffered at the hands of online trolls.
