An 81-year-old woman detained in connection with the death of Somaiya Begum has been released on bail.
The man has been arrested for appearing in Bradford Magistrates Court on Saturday 9 July.
West Yorkshire police confirmed a body had been found around 7.35pm on Wednesday near Fitzwilliam Street in the Broomfields area of the city.
Officers can now officially confirm that the body is that of Ms. Begum.
The young woman was last seen at her home on Binnie Street on Saturday, June 25 at 2 p.m., and disappeared 24 hours later.
The major police update came almost two weeks after the launch of a major 14-day investigation into his disappearance.
Despite the appeals, there had been no sightings or confirmed contacts from her.
The scene of Wednesday’s terrible discovery lies within a heavily industrialized area where there are companies such as engineering companies, car repair garages and building supply companies.
Police scenes are being held at a Thornbury Road industrial estate in Laisterdyke and Binnie Street, Barkerend, where Somaiya was last seen.
