Sony launches new PS Store credit vouchers for PS Plus

Earlier this month, it was reported that Sony was discontinuing its traditional PS Plus digital vouchers. These allowed you to purchase one-month, three-month, or 12-month passes from third-party retailers, which you could then redeem into your account to extend your subscription. From time to time, these would be discounted.

On the official PlayStation website, I was directing customers to the PS Store credit, which you can obviously use to purchase subscription time. Now, with the service available in Europe, it has launched new portfolio recharge denominations specifically for its revamped PS Plus levels. Top UK retailers like Shop To and Amazon UK now allow you to buy £ 84 in credit from the PS Store, which is the cost of PS Plus Extra for a year.

There are also notable options available in the US, such as $ 110, which is the price of PS Plus Extra and taxes. We’re not convinced that this format is as clean as the old option, where you just bought the subscription time you wanted and you don’t have to worry about PS Store credit, but suppose with three levels of bidding, that is, in short, more manageable for retail exhibitors.

Anyway, here’s the situation right now: PS Plus-specific vouchers are available, but there are featured PS Store wallet refills.
