Sony Interactive Entertainment is preparing to announce several new hardware products, including a PS5 “Pro” driver.
In a report published in Try Hard Guides, industry expert Tom Henderson claims to have heard from various sources that the platform owner will unveil new hardware in late June, although this will not include a new console.
Described by Henderson as a “genuine professional controller” for PS5, the new pad will feature removable analog sticks and grips, shutter stops and rear paddles.

Henderson said he was provided with images of an alleged prototype for the PS5 Pro driver, which he claims will have major software updates.
Following reports of a delay, it was recently announced that Sony will confirm a November release date for God of War: Ragnarök later this month.
While it’s unclear, it is speculated that Sony may be planning to announce the game’s release date as part of a larger event that also includes the unveiling of the new PlayStation hardware.
Sony made its last live broadcast of State of Play earlier this month. It featured revelations and updates focused primarily on third-party PlayStation games, but also featured Sony Horizon’s PlayStation VR2 game Call of the Mountain.
