Spider-Man: No Way Home will return to theaters, just in time for Labor Day weekend.
Sony announced on Friday that a cut of fans of the recent box office success will be screened in theaters starting Friday, September 2nd. Entitled Spider-Man: No Way Home – The More Fun Stuff Version, viewers can expect added and expanded scenes that are not part of the original version that debuted on December 17th.
“You wanted more Spidey and you got it!” read a post on Friday’s official No Way Home Twitter account. “#SpiderManNoWayHome: The More Fun Stuff Version hits theaters in the US and Canada on September 2nd! More countries will be announced soon!”
The post includes a video of movie stars Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire claiming to be the network’s Marvel superhero and inviting fans to watch the new cut.
It remains to be seen if there are any Spidey fans who have not yet been filled with capturing the hit movie on the big screen. Spider-Man: No Way Home is the third all-time title at the national box office and ranks sixth in the world.
Director Jon Watts’ film also stars Zendaya, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Jamie Foxx, Willem Dafoe, Alfred Molina and Benedict Wong.
Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, August 9th, and the More Fun Stuff version kicks off on September 2nd.
