The new Premier League season kicks off this Friday evening when Crystal Palace take on Arsenal, with plenty of twists and turns expected once again as the top-flight action approaches.
Sportsmail brings you a full preview of every side in the division and assesses how their fortunes could fare during the season.
You can read part one, part two and part three. In the fourth quarter, we take a look at Nottingham Forest, Southampton, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Wolves, who will have a number of targets at both ends of the table.

Good summer?
It has been an extremely busy summer for newly promoted Forest, with 12 new summer signings worth £85m.
Whether those signings will happen remains a big question, but either way it’s been a good summer so far for Forest, who have added some much-needed depth as they prepare for life in the Premier League after 23 years away .
Steve Cooper’s men are still eyeing more signings and time will tell if there are too many recruits who could hold them back, although from the outside looking in, they seem to have done a shrewd business.
Success would be?
Avoid relegation. Like any newly-promoted team they are the main target for the first season, but you get the sense that Forest are splashing so much cash on transfers, they might be hoping they don’t have too many problems.
They will look at how he performed at Brentford last season as a target, finishing 13th in your first campaign after promotion is a huge achievement, perhaps even an overachievement.
Steve Cooper likes to play attractive football and made a big impression after arriving at the City Ground. It could help them undo a crash.
Would it look like disaster?
Being relegated It goes without saying that going straight back into the Championship would be a disaster, especially after spending so much money on transfers to try and help them succeed.
The fact that Forest beat West Ham to the signature of Jesse Lingard due to a higher wage packet shows intent, but also spells out financial problems should they move back.

Steve Cooper did an incredible job last season as he arrived with Forest in relegation to the Championship.
They missed out on automatic promotion at the end of the season and achieved promotion via the play-offs as they played an attractive brand of attacking football.
Forest also reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup, knocked out by eventual winners Liverpool, after beating Leicester City and Arsenal in earlier rounds.
Cooper loves working with young players and has had plenty of success in England’s youth set-up, including winning the Under-17 World Cup title in 2017.
He encourages his teams to play possession football and build the game from the back.
The key man: Jesse Lingard
If Jesse Lingard can find the form he provided at West Ham United during his loan spell in the 2020-21 season, he could prove to be the key man for Forest.
The former Manchester United attacking midfielder became an integral part of the Hammers and showed just how good he can be, after sitting on the sidelines for United.
Lingard, however, returned to United and barely featured last season, which could have a negative effect on his performances.
But if he can perform, you imagine he could be vital in helping Forest avoid relegation.

Forest will go with confidence after promotion and will be underdogs in almost every game this season. A big summer in the transfer market should be enough to avoid relegation.

SOUTHAMPTON

Southampton have built a more youthful side this summer, shedding some big bosses and bringing in new potential talent.
Manchester City duo Gavin Bazunu and Romeo Lavia are two of the biggest signings, but there is a huge unknown factor with just one feature for City’s under-23s last season.
They have brought in Joe Aribo, who played a huge role in helping Rangers reach the Europa League final, where they eventually lost to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Saints are never cash-strapped, so the summer will depend on whether the new signings adapt to the Premier League.

Success would be?
An improved mid-table finish would be an achievement for the Saints after finishing outside the relegation zone for numerous seasons.
Southampton were almost caught in an unwanted relegation battle last season after winning just one of their last 13 league games.
So an improvement on last season would be success or a mid-table finish rather than flirting with the bottom three once again.
Despite bringing in some bright young talent, a mid-table finish may be unlikely, especially given the transfer business across the league.
Would it look like disaster?
Like any of the lower-end Premier League clubs, relegation would be an absolute disaster.
Southampton have been back in the top flight since 2012 and will want to keep it that way after working so hard to bounce back from League One.
They have too many stars in the likes of James Ward-Prowse, Kyle Walker-Peters and Tino Livramento for relegation to be an option. Otherwise, it could be bad news for the club.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is the third longest-serving manager in the Premier League but appears to have flirted with relegation on numerous occasions during his time on the south coast.
The Austrian cannot afford a slow start this season as he must impress new owners Saints as they have ambitious plans to rebuild the squad with talented youngsters.
They have been an inconsistent team under Hasenhuttl since his arrival in 2018, one week they can be world-beaters, the next they could suffer a heavy defeat.
Finding consistency will be key and it seems the boss is determined to do just that even by changing his style and high-pressing formation during pre-season.
The key man: James Ward-Prowse
The England international will be pivotal for Southampton after signing a new long-term contract.
The 26-year-old has already made 323 first-team appearances for Southampton, becoming only the 28th player in the club’s history to break the 300 mark, while he has also contributed 33 goals, 14 of which have come in the last two campaigns
His set-piece ability and the fact that he has become the best midfielder in the division means much of Saints’ success will depend on Ward-Prowse’s form this campaign.

Antonio Conte has been able to make his own mark on the Spurs squad, which bodes well given his track record of winning silverware and turning teams’ fortunes around.
The new additions have all the important areas of reinforcement for the Italian in midfield and on the wing, as well as another option in attack.
Tottenham have even managed to offload a few unwanted players in the hope of pushing more through the exit door before the transfer window closes.

Success for Spurs would be silverware, but it is more likely to come in a cup competition, not the Premier League.
