Another night, another pack of two crucial 4 games ahead in round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
With a home win, the Edmonton Oilers can push rival Calgary Flames to the brink of elimination. On Sunday night, Evander Kane scored a hat trick when Edmonton took a 2-1 lead in the series with a 4-1 victory.
Meanwhile, on Broadway, the Rangers will try to match their series with the Carolina Hurricanes at both. Igor Shesterkin was the story of Game 3; Vezina’s favorite made 43 stops to lead New York to a 3-1 victory.
Here are some close-ups to keep in mind:
PROP No. 1: Connor McDavid more than 1.5 assists (+120)
You can’t stop Connor McDavid, you just can’t wait to contain him. And so far, the Flames have been unable to do anything. The Oilers captain has nine points in three games in the series and is up 23 points in 10 total playoff games. The price of the McDavid knit accessory (over 1.5 points / -175) has become too high for my liking, so I suggest the support accessory. The 25-year-old has amassed 12 assistants in this ridiculous six-point streak, which is an average of two per game. I will play the odds.
PROP No. 2: Matthew Tkachuk Over 2.5 SOG (-150)
Simply put, the Flames need a lot of Tkachuk effort tonight. After a hat-trick in the first half, he has been relatively calm since he only had a miserable assist. The most important thing for this strut is that the 24-year-old winger has covered the 2.5 number in three of his last four outings, with a total of 22 shots on goal. If you’re having fun, you can also watch Tkachuk’s target at any time tonight (+165).

PROP No. 3: Carolina Hurricanes scores first (-120)
Cannes have to win on the road, right? They are 6-0 at home, 0-4 away from the PNC Arena. In 10 playoff games they have scored the first seven times, and in the regular season they finished fourth in the league in that statistic. For my money, there is a lot of value to discover here, especially with the price of pick’em attached to this accessory tonight.
PROP No. 4: Andrei Svechnikov More than 0.5 points (+100)
For the Hurricanes to finally achieve this evasive first victory on the road, they will need Svechnikov to wake up. The 22-year-old sniper, who scored 30 goals and 69 points in 78 regular-season games, has yet to score a point in the series and only has four in 10 total playoff games. It should be noted that Svechnikov scored five shots on goal in match 3, perhaps setting the table for an outstanding performance.
