WASHINGTON—Steve Bannon’s lawyers did not call their client or any other witnesses in his defense Thursday, setting the stage for closing arguments and jury deliberations Friday in the trial of the indicted former Trump adviser contempt of Congress.
“You don’t intend to present any evidence to the jury?” U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols on Thursday morning asked Mr. Bannon.
