US stocks rose as investors considered another wave of corporate earnings reports and fresh economic data from the services sector.
The S&P 500 added 0.8%, paring losses after closing up 0.7% on Tuesday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also rose 0.8%. The Nasdaq Composite rose 1.2%.
