Stray will be out in a little over a week and won’t cost a penny to PS Plus Extra or PS Plus Premium subscribers. It all means that developer BlueTwelve Studios is preparing for the release and has sent a first batch of patches to Sony’s servers. There are two launch day updates ready and waiting, both of which ask you to “hug your cat for us”. Noawww.

The complete notes of the patch are below:

Stray v1.02

  • Improved navigation in various places
  • It made some game scripts more robust by reloading control points
  • Improved audio during cinematics
  • Polished audio sounds and general mix everywhere
  • Small tweaks and graphic corrections
  • Improved localization in several languages
  • MANY collision solutions, naughty cat!

Stray v1.01

  • Localization has been improved in several languages
  • Additional vibration has been added throughout the game
  • Some Meows have been completely meowed again
  • Stability has improved during some critical moments
  • Performance has improved in some demanding places

Earlier this week, the game’s trophy list also appeared, confirming that you’ll have to meow 100 times and take a nap for an hour to unlock such an important platinum. We hope to have a full review soon.
