A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with “serious injuries” following an accident in Stoke this afternoon. Two air ambulances were called to the scene at Hartshill Road in Stoke, near the intersection with Honeywall, at 2.35pm today, following reports of a collision between a motorcyclist and another. vehicle.

The West Midlands ambulance service says the driver has been taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital. A spokeswoman said: “We were called at 2.35pm to report a collision between a motorcyclist and a van at the junction of Hartshill Road and Honeywall in Stoke.
“We sent an ambulance, a paramedic and the Midlands air ambulances from Cosford and Tatenhill. We treated the motorcyclist for serious injuries and they were taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital in a ground ambulance for further treatment.”
