Developer Tribute Games announced today that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has reached the million-dollar mark after a week of sales.
? Cowabunga! We are honored to have so many people sharing our love for turtles! One million copies sold during its first week requires a world-class pizza party with tubular topping !? Thanks again to all of you around the world and to Dimension. X! pic.twitter.com/x7kkJS6fbF

Released by Dotemu, the beat-em-up debuted on June 16 for Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It is inspired by the classic TMNT games of arcs and 8-bit / 16-bit days.
Reaching 1 million copies sold in such a short time is a big sign for the game. Maybe I can dream that this would mean that Dotemu and Tribute can reclaim some other licensed classic beat-em-ups from that era, like X-Men and The Simpsons.
