We’ve been hearing about Telegram Premium for a long time. The wait is now over. Telegram has just released version 8.8 in the Apple App Store, which allows users to unleash the full potential of Telegram for $ 4.99 a month. Existing features are expected to remain free. However, those who want to get their hands on some tempting new additions will now have to pay a monthly fee.
At the time of writing, the update is not yet available in the Google Play Store. However, the company tends to release major updates for all platforms on the same day. So you can expect to see this version in a day or two if the publishing process goes well.
The full list of premium features includes:

- Faster downloads.
- Connect 4 accounts to any application.
- Organize your chats into 20 folders, with 200 chats each.
- Add 10 chats to your main list.
- Book up to 20 public links t.me.
- Save 400 favorite GIFs and 10 favorite stickers.
- Write a longer biography for your profile and include links.
- Includes longer captions for photos and videos.
- Voice-to-text transcripts.
- Exclusive stickers and reactions.
- Premium badge on profile.
- Profile video support.
- No ads.
- More custom icons.
Aside from the premium benefits, iOS version 8.8 also adds some features for both free and paid users. Public groups now support join requests, there is new animation when sharing large files from other applications in Telegram, as well as bot enhancements, 120M ProMotion support, and bug fixes.
These new features are rewarding for paying users, but they are also not too tempting for those who prefer not to pay. Free users probably don’t feel like they’re missing out. However, in my opinion, the deals are significantly richer than those of Twitter Blue. It has not yet been seen whether a significant portion of Telegram users ignore the new Premium level or subscribe to it.
