Ten Hag has already explained why England rejects a boost to Sancho, Shaw and Rashford

Only one Manchester United player has been named in Gareth Southgate’s latest English squad announced on Tuesday, with only Harry Maguire selected.

Three players who were part of the Euro 2020 team last summer received resentment from England instead of a cap, Luke Shaw, Jadon Sancho and Marcus Rashford.

Shaw’s exclusion was related to fitness, he is still likely to come to the World Cup. The places of Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho in the tournament are more uncertain.

In the short term, staying out of the English national team is a benefit for Manchester United players.

England’s resentment helps Sancho, Shaw and Rashford

England’s disdain helps the Manchester United trio, allowing them to go straight into training with Erik ten Hag’s new regime from the start.

United will start pre-season training on June 27. But not all players will be present.

Those taking part in the June international matches will be delayed by at least a week, as explained by new coach Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag said on United’s website: “We will start the pre-season on June 27 and I will get some from the squad, from the individual players.”

“Not all players will enter [on 27 June]because those who play international will have a longer break, because they play more this season ”.

This gives each of them more time to learn from Erik ten Hag and his team of coaches, and more opportunities to impress and congratulate themselves as key players in managers ’plans.

After unstable seasons, all three players can benefit from overtime with the new coach, and this disdain for England works in their favor and for the benefit of the team.

This could be important for all stakeholders and will also work well for their international opportunities. If each of them can rediscover their form at club level, England’s call-up for the World Cup will surely follow.
