Democratic Gov. Beto O’Rourke was trying to derail Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott’s response to the shooting in Uvalde, Texas on Wednesday.

Abbott spoke for about ten minutes before attempting to transfer the microphone to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, at which point O’Rourke approached the stage.

Only a few of O’Rourke’s words were audible, but he was aggressively pointing at the scene even though those around him were shouting at him.
