Marzocchi has announced a new Bomber air damper with an asymmetrical tank, claiming that the design allows for a better fit in a wider variety of frames, as well as easier access to the compression adjuster.
This will be a relief for motorcyclists who adjust the suspension settings when they go out on the roads. The air spring pressure valve is also installed asymmetrically, so you should not spend time trying to install a suspension shock pump in a tight and uncomfortable space.
The Bomber is available in a variety of sizes to suit a wide range of mountain bikes, from dirt jumps to downhill tracks.
The tank has a large volume, which according to the brand allows to increase the flow and volume of oil. Marzocchi is confident that the shock allows for “consistent performance on the biggest hits and longest descents so you can send it with confidence.”

The clash features Marzocchi’s own inmates, instead of Fox’s Float X, which says “combine[s] Cheerful and confident driving characteristics with our proven Bomber durability “.
A Marzocchi spokesman told BikeRadar that the interior elements “offer a firmer cushioning configuration, which is better suited to the aggressive type of driving that Marzocchi riders like to do.”
There is an unindexed external compression setting and an external bounce setting. Marzocchi adds that the shock is easy to adjust for all weights and sizes.
The asymmetrical design we hope the adjustment to the path is simple.

The shock is available in strokes from 40 to 75 mm and you can customize the feel using volume dividers, available in 0.1 cin increments. You can also reduce the available stroke using reducing spacers.
The brand says that the shock absorber will combine well with any of its forks and is available in metric or stump mounting options.
All adjusters are said to be tool-free and the shock is compatible with Fox bearing brackets at both ends (except the stub).
