The Blue discovers MRO’s fate for a dangerous attack while Cat and Magpie charge

Carlton’s Will Hayes has received a two-match sanction from the MRO for his entry into Geelong’s Sam Menegola.

Menegola was withdrawn from the game during the second quarter after suffering a concussion at the entrance, with the incident described as negligent behavior, high impact and high contact.

Hayes will miss Carlton’s games against GWS and Adelaide over the next fortnight with an early plea.

“It was a pretty strong success.”
