The body of a man who disappeared after leaving work has been discovered on a rural road.
Andrew Haldane of Worcester was reported missing on Tuesday (June 7th) after leaving his job at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham.
Police found Andrew Haldane’s body today on Netherton Lane in Abberley.
The family of the 45-year-old man has been informed.

A West Mercia police spokesman said: “Police searching for Worcester’s missing man, Andrew Haldane, have found a body.

“The body was found today on Netherton Lane in Abberley. Formal identification has not yet been carried out, but Andrew’s family has been informed.”
After police released the missing appeal, his teammates described him as a “good man” and asked people to look for him.
Dr. Nick Crombie, who works with Haldane, said: “North Worcestershire and its environs, this is Andy, he is a colleague, a friend and a good man.
“He never returned home from work on Monday and he and his silver Focus estate are gone. Help us find him. Please.”
The plane of West Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner was circling for hours over Worcester on Tuesday.
The plane, a Vulcanair P.68R, left Doncaster at 12:50 a.m. and, according to eyewitnesses, spent at least two hours circling over Ombersley.
West Mercia police said Mr Haldane had not been seen since he left work at the hospital on Monday at 5pm.
“The 45-year-old was last seen leaving his job, Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, at around 5pm yesterday (Monday 6 June).
“Andrew is described as 6 feet 5 and slender, with a bald head and glasses.
“It is believed he may be in the Ombersley area of Worcester.”
