A spectator escaped a serious injury after a vehicle sank down a steep rocky cliff on an embankment near the famous Kiama Hole, south of Sydney.
Firefighters and rescue teams from the south coast city of NSW rushed to help after the crash at Blowhole Point on Sunday.

There was no one in the car, but one person was hit while heading into the ocean, Fire and Rescue NSW said. They were not seriously injured.
Teams said the parking lot had been overtaken and they had gone to rest just above the ocean pool, next to the hole.

“He was extremely fortunate that no one else was injured in this incident,” FRNSW said on Facebook.
