McCann said Crown had completed its recovery “as a public company.”

The report revealed that special manager Stephen O’Bryan, QC, had already given the company 12 instructions to take action under its powers, such as forcing it to hand over information it had kept “unnecessarily” secret.
McCann said “a little more investment was needed” in his new management duo’s basic Crown systems, especially the digitization of the card game and player tracking.

The report also revealed that Crown had refused to release any information in “relatively limited circumstances” citing other legal obligations, although the powers of the special manager overturned those concerns.
