On Tuesday, Magistrate Tim Walsh approved the long adjournment, but said, “We have to move this matter.”
Lynn was charged with two counts of murder in November, 20 months after Hill, 74, and Clay, 73, disappeared while camping in the Wonnangatta Valley, also in the High Country.
In the following days, police and forensic teams searched a remote part of the rugged alpine area north of Dargo Township in search of the couple’s suspicious remains.
In February, the coroner’s office confirmed that the remains discovered in the search area were those of Hill and Clay.
Lynn, a Caroline Springs pilot, is accused of killing her partner on March 20, 2020.
On Tuesday, investigators confirmed they were still looking for a trailer they believe Lynn may have sold on the Gumtree online marketplace in the months following the alleged murder.
The metal trailer is believed to be silver blue, about 2 meters by 1.5 meters in size, rusty and equipped with outer wheels.
The matter will return to the Court of Sales Instruction on August 23.
Anyone with information about the missing trailer is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
