A home decor store and kitchenware in downtown Kelowna is expanding upward.
Lakehouse Home Store will hold a grand opening on its second floor next weekend, Saturday, June 11, at 9:30 p.m.
The store, located on the corner of Ellis and Bernard, has spent the past year renovating more than 10,000 square feet of space to install more commercial space and two state-of-the-art kitchens.
“Expanding our original location has been a great way to celebrate ten years of business,” co-owner Ben Boschman said in a press release. “We are excited to be able to offer our customers more of the brands they love, from Breville to Le Creuset, as well as launch cooking classes this fall.”
Lakehouse will add an “known and established” Okanagan chef to lead the culinary program.
The second floor will officially open at 10 a.m. next Saturday, half an hour after the grand opening ceremony, and the first 40 buyers on both Saturday and Sunday will receive a giveaway.
