The Duchess of Cornwall turns 75 on Sunday, and a new official photo has been posted to commemorate the occasion.
In the picture, Camilla is seen smiling and in a blue floral dress by Sophie Dundas, in which she is sitting at a garden table with flowers, plants, some peaches and, most importantly, a cup.
The peach bowl is significant, as her son, food writer Tom Parker Bowles, has written an ode to fruit in Country Life magazine.
The Duchess has edited as a guest the latest issue, which reveals one of her favorite desserts: the peach melba.
A column written by her son says, “My mother is a big cultivator of white peaches (the topic of this month’s column was very much her idea) and they certainly don’t want to draw attention.”
Peaches were grown where Camilla’s new photo was taken: the gardens of her rural Raymill refuge in Lacock, Wiltshire, about 17 miles from the Prince of Wales’ Highgrove house.
He bought the six-bedroom property after his divorce from Andrew Parker Bowles in the mid-1990s.

Highgrove is the likely setting for what Clarence House said would be a small family dinner to celebrate Camilla’s birthday.
Camilla’s daughter Laura Lopes and her son are expected to attend, along with her younger sister Annabel Elliot, who appeared in an ITV documentary after Camilla while editing Country Life.
The show aired this week and revealed that Camilla buried the beloved teddy bear of a young Annabel, Tiddy Bar, on the grounds of her grandparents ’house and only confessed years later.
Elsewhere, the duchess used an interview in the Daily Mail to reveal that her grandchildren introduced her to TikTok, though she seemed to lament people’s growing obsession with “their devices”.
“Families don’t sit down anymore, they do and have dinner,” he told the newspaper.
“Because I’m old, in the old days we all sat down (to eat). Now everyone is on their devices. It makes me pretty angry.”
