The expansion of Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle is a new epic world to explore

A new expansion has been launched to augment Elder Scrolls Online and is an epic story of stabbing in the back and political intrigue.

The adventure begins in a lush wooded landscape in a clearing bordered by mysterious monuments that resemble Stonehenge.

This is the land of High Isle and Amenos in the Systres archipelago, a site of stunning white cliffs, towering castles and monster-infested jungles. It is home to chivalrous Breton society, but you soon find yourself in a world of three alliances at war.

High Isle is an expansion pack for Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) and it’s incredibly epic.

The expansion of ZeniMax Online Studios gives new life to the MMORPG, originally released in 2014.

He hadn’t played in the series since Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimso I took the opportunity when they gave me a chance to review ESO High Island.

Choosing your character

The first step in the game is to build your character, and there is a wide variety to choose from.

There are many options depending on what you want to do: PvP (player versus player), go solo or maybe you are a beginner like me.

I decided to go with the construction of Magicka Sorcerer (thanks for the AlcastHQ guide) and chose to become a tall elf.

A very cool start

A little quick fundraising for the uninitiated.

One of the best known predecessors ESO, Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, began the famous game with the hero waking up in a prison. And things got more intense from then on when Emperor Uriel Septim VII entered the cell in search of a secret corridor. Recently, it was described that the opening of the game had changed the world of role-playing games forever.

ESO he changes course with the imprisoned hero once again after a “magic translocation”. It’s the beginning of a tutorial that helps new players learn the basics of the game, including how to fight.

A deliciously twisted tale

The High Isle chapter opens up a huge new world to explore ESO.

The main story centers on a plot by the Order of the Knightly Ascendant to disrupt peace talks between the Three Alliances to end the Three Flags War. So let’s jump in.

I prepared myself with a training team that would enhance the experience usefully created by a friendly stranger (thanks Boffardello). I rode my Bloodshadow Wraith Steed and went straight into political intrigue.

Alta Island’s main quest begins with “Of Knights and Threads,” a deliciously twisted story about politics, alliances, and stabbings in the back.

With the help of one of the new companions in the game, Isobel Velois, the Breton knight, I helped Lady Arabelle Davaux defeat the guild general Quentyn, who had joined the Ascending Order.

There were a lot of fights and more than a few puzzles to solve along the way. I haven’t reached the end of the search yet, but I’m looking forward to the trip.

Hours of play

The expansion is a massive addition to what is already a huge game to explore.

There is a seemingly endless supply of fun missions: from acting in a play to looking for loot in dark caverns full of dreugh (a terrifying scorpion-style monster), clannfear, and daedroth.

The voice that acts ESO It’s incredible. Even John Cleese makes an appearance in the game as Sir Cadwell.

You can go fishing (you’ll need bait), cook food (you’ll need ingredients), make potions, make armor, or just ride your glorious steed through the rolling hills.

It’s about finding and finding clues. Fortunately, there are useful arrows to guide your path.

You can fight monsters or sneak in to steal things. And you can always ask for help from the friendly community.

Frankly, there are too many details in the game to fit into a review. It’s the kind of game where you get completely lost.

Tribute stories

One of the interesting new additions to the expansion is the Tribute stories card game.

Quick admission here: I spent hours playing Magic: The Gathering in primary school, which speaks for itself.

Tribute stories is a super tricky game in which two players compete in collectible fights.

Having a good understanding of the letters and what they do is critical.

The goal is to gain as much prestige as possible and when you reach 40 points you win the game.

I had fun playing the game as part of the research and it is said to have received it quite well ESO community.

My opinion about High Isle

I’m still working on this huge expansion, but my first assessment is that it has revitalized the game.

The main quest is a lot of fun and the land of High Isle and Amenos is a huge new playground to explore.

I’m already hooked.
