Update [Wed 8th Jun, 2022 14:00 BST] We told you to keep your eyes open! We’ve shared our own review of Mario Strikers: Battle League and, well, not to spoil anything, but we’re big fans of it.
Original article [Wed 8th Jun, 2022 10:30 BST] We’re only two days away from the release of Mario Strikers: Battle League, the first Mario Strikers game in 15 years! And we can’t wait to get on the field, especially after a taste of online gaming this past weekend.
And we seem to have every reason to be excited! The first review of the game has just been released and the Japanese publication Famitsu looks very positive about the return of Next Level Games to the field. Using its typical four-person review system, the point of sale has scored Mario Strikers: Battle League 32/40, with each reviewer giving the game an 8.
That’s a pretty solid figure, which hopefully should mean we’re having fun this Friday. And considering our first impressions of when we managed to spend some time with the game in May, we think it will be a good one.
