The Giants haven’t given much to celebrating their fans over the past few seasons, but this season they are celebrating some great years from the past.
Today the Giants have announced that they will play two “legacy games” this season, in which they will play with the uniforms of their great teams of the 80s and 90s, when they won two Super Bowls with Bill Parcells and Lawrence Taylor.
This will include replacing the “NY” script logo on their helmets with the “GIANTS” logo underlined in navy blue helmets with white masks and scarlet stripes.
The Giants will also paint the final zones at MetLife Stadium to look like the final zones of Super Bowl XXI.
The two legacy games will be on Oct. 2 against the Bears and Dec. 4 against the Commanders.
