The Google Pixel 7 prototype appears online with a textured metal frame [Gallery] Guides

Google I / O surprised us all with a first official look at the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, and now we have more thanks to a first prototype of the Pixel 7 that appears on eBay.

An eBay list has appeared today for someone who sells what is said to be a prototype of the Pixel 7. Shortly after the publication of this article, around 13:30 ET, the list was withdrawn.

The device is shown in its black “Obsidian” model, with a shiny glass back and the new metal camera bar that Google showed earlier. The device also has a consistent but up-to-date logo from previous Google prototypes.

Since Google officially showed the design of the Pixel 7, this eBay listing doesn’t tell us much more, although it does confirm that the Pixel 7 will lose the matte black frame of the Pixel 6 (which we loved) in return. for a textured metal frame. We can also see the mmWave antenna window that appeared earlier in the CAD leaks.

In a somewhat hilarious way, we can also see the Pixel 7 Pro in the reflection, with its distinctive camera bar taking pictures of this phone.

The list went on to mention that the phone was already running Android 13 and “pixel applications under development.”

The only other detail of this leak is a quick look at the storage; we can see that the Pixel 7 will have 128 GB of storage, as predicted.

Google has already confirmed that the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be launched this fall. Pixel 7 specifications will include a second-generation Tensor chipset. This updated design will come in the color “Obsidian” that we are seeing here, in addition to being sold in “Lemongrass” and “Snow”.
