Police are looking for two men after a 20-year-old man was “washed with gasoline and set on fire” while sitting in his car at a gas station.
Officers have posted pictures of two men with whom they want to talk about the attack on a Texaco garage in Dudley town last Thursday evening.
The victim was seriously injured but is in a stable condition at the hospital.
West Midlands police have named one of the men as Stephen Burden, 30, who has ties to Wednesbury in the Black Country.
He was caught on CCTV with a Nike Air sweatshirt.
The second man is shown wearing a blue Adidas tracksuit.
The attack took place around 7pm in a Texaco garage on Himley Road.

Detective Inspector Jackie Nicholson said: “We urgently need to talk to these two men and I would like to appeal directly to them so that they can get in touch as soon as possible.
“We have tracked CCTV in the area, we have spoken to several witnesses and our investigations continue.”
