The Morning After: iOS 16 may allow you to skip these anti-bot login tests

Apple’s upcoming update to its iPhone operating system may help you avoid the CAPTCHA anti-bot systems that stand between you and some web logins. Apple showed a private access token system on iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and macOS Ventura that omits CAPTCHAs for some apps and websites. Turn on automatic verification, and support sites will use iCloud to verify both your Apple ID and your device, with a token to show that you are trusted.

Apparently, having an iOS device (and an Apple ID) may be enough to prove you’re a sensitive, possibly lazy person.
