The teaser for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was released on Saturday during the third day of Comic-Con International.
The new clip saw several of the stars from the first film, including Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira, dealing with a new set of adversaries besieging the titular country.
The teaser poster for the feature, which was also directed by Ryan Coogler, was also released on Disney’s official Instagram account on Saturday afternoon.

The video begins with Nakia, played by Nyong’o, entering a majestic beach.
Several scenes from the nation of Wakanda are shown, and Letitia Wright’s Shuri and Angela Bassett’s Ramonda are also seen.
After Okoye, played by Gurira, is shown interacting with various Wakanda warriors, the aforementioned characters seem to mourn the loss of T’Challa, played by Chadwick Boseman, and another figure gives birth underwater.
Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta, makes his debut, and several Mayan-style Atlantean warriors ride alongside a pair of whales.

Starting strong: The video opens with Nakia, played by Nyong’o, stepping out onto a majestic beach

Later, a team of soldiers attack a Wakandan research facility and a royal chamber bursts into flames.
Later, Shuri enthusiastically greets Iron Man’s successor, Ironheart, played by Dominique Thorne.
Namor finally emerges from the ocean and several futuristic airships make their way across a frozen landscape.
Bad: Namor, played by Tenoch Huerta, makes his debut, and several Mayan-style Atlantean warriors ride alongside a pair of whales.

Several Atlantean warriors then fend off an attack by several Wakandans, and a quick montage of action scenes shows several of the film’s high-tension moments.

Gone But Not Forgotten: Boseman’s image is then shown and Everett K. Ross, played by Martin Freeman, is introduced for the first time.

The final scene of the teaser shows an unidentified character wearing what appears to be a new Black Panther costume.
A sequel to the original Black Panther was developed shortly after the release of the original, which was released in 2018.
Numerous cast members from the first film expressed interest in returning for a follow-up, though plans were complicated when Boseman tragically died of colon cancer in August 2020.

Hard at Work: Development of a sequel to the original Black Panther shortly after the release of the original, which premiered in 2018
Moving on: Numerous cast members from the first film expressed interest in returning for a follow-up, though plans were complicated when Boseman tragically died of colon cancer in August 2020.
It was later confirmed that plans for a sequel would move forward and that the late actor’s role would not be recast.
Filming on the project began in June last year and continued until its crew wrapped up last March.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is scheduled to open on November 11.
A series centered around Thorne’s character is slated to debut on Disney+ next fall.
