If your current smartphone is constantly running low, Chinese technology company Realme may have the perfect solution. It has just announced the launch of its new GT NEO 3 device which has the ability to recharge at a ridiculously fast pace. Once the battery runs out, a 150W charger can turn things around at 50 percent in just five minutes. This means that the GT NEO 3 is now the fastest phone in the world when it comes to recharging the power pack.
What makes this even more appealing is that Realme even sends this connector to the inbox so customers won’t have to spend more money to get this technology fast. The Chinese company is contrasting the trend with most manufacturers, including Samsung, Apple and Sony, which are now completely abandoning the packaging plug and causing users to buy faster chargers in their stores.
Along with this super-fast charge, the GT NEO 3 also has many other delights, such as a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a fast refresh rate of 120 Hz for a smooth ride.
There’s also a triple-lens rear camera that includes a 50-megapixel Sony head sensor along with an 8-megapixel 119 ° ultra-wide-angle lens and a 4-cm 2-megapixel macro lens.
Realme promises that this setup will provide photography enthusiasts with an easy way to take high-quality vivid photos.
The rear camera is also surrounded by a rather unique racing-style design with stripes running across the box.
Featuring Nitro Blue, Sprint White and Asphalt Black, this look was inspired by motor racing and the true story of legendary driver Carroll Shelby, who painted track stripes on a high-end sports car to express the his passion for speed. It’s definitely different though it may not be to everyone’s liking.
It’s under the hood of the GT NEO 3 and there’s no sign of Qualcomm Snapdragon’s usual brains. Instead, this device works with Mediatek’s new Dimensity 8100 mobile platform.
We’ll have to wait for the reviews to see how this phone resists the competition, but on paper, it seems to be quite capable.
Other extras coming to the GT NEO 3 include 5G data technology for fast moving downloads and up to 256GB of internal storage.
If you’re excited about these specs, the GT NEO 3 will cost £ 599.99 when it goes on sale; this is considerably cheaper than the flagships of Samsung and Sony. Realme is also launching a slightly less powerful version called the GT NEO 3T which costs £ 369.
